Gorkha, a scenic hill town offers panoramic view of snow capped mountains. Situated on a small hillock at an attitude of about 1000 m with great historical significance, Gorkha unlocks numerous doors to natural heaven and lies at a distance of 6 hours’ pleasant drive from Kathmandu. It is a sanctuary for history enthusiasts and a city that shaped the whole nation and legends of the gallant “Gurkhas”.

Climate

Ranging from Tropical, Sub-tropical to Alpine Climatic areas, Gorkha is the best place to be in all seasons around the year. During the summer, cool climate can be experienced in the mid and northern part whereas during the winter, mid and the southern part offer warm climate.
